Rhinos have one or two horns in the middle of the forehead. If there are two, one is located in front of the other (not side by side). The rhino .is a herbivorous animal and has 1.5 - 5 cm thick skin made of collagen. Rhinos have a sense of hearing and a keen sense of smell, but cannot see far. Most rhinos can survive more than 40 years.
Although including herbivores, rhino is a dangerous animal. In India and Nepal, rhinos are the main cause of human death, more than the number caused by tigers and leopards. Rhinos are even known to have attacked tourist elephants.
